Setup / Things to bring
1)Get the Waiver of Liability here in either .doc form or .pdf form. Bring it to the event!
2) Computer*
- A Celeron 733 or Pentium III 733 class or better system.*
- A 3D accelerator card, geForce 2 or better!*
- Free HD space for those patches and mods.
- 128MB RAM or more.*
- Monitor. You pick the size, but 15" to 19" is recommended.*
- Keyboard.*
- Mouse.*
- Power cables. You may also want to bring a surge protecting power strip.
- 100baseTX ethernet card, though you can get away with gaming on a 10baseT.*
- Win98/Win2K/WinXP/other OS software in the unlikely event that you will need to reinstall.
- HEADPHONES! Please bring some! Use ones with long cords.
- Extra parts and tools like cdroms, network cards, modems, memory, hd, goat, etc...
- A small inventory list of what you bring, just in case there are mix-ups.
- CAT5 RJ45 cable. (Just in case, but it is currently provided)
3) Extra drinks, snacks and or food.**
4) Pillows, blankets, teddy bears, etc. in case you need a nap, girly man.
5) Money. $20 is our entry fee currently for prepay via Paypal or $25 at the door for walk-ins plus money for those late night munchie runs!
* Please make sure that you have a working system before the event; hardware/software troubles will be laughed at.
** We will have a supply of soda, snacks, and pizza for all, but you may bring your own drinks and snacks as well
*** Make sure your machine is patched and up to date. All it takes is one looser with a virus on the network to gecha when yer fragg'n WhitePup. At the very least, wear some clean underwear, and make sure that your system doesn't have any open shares people can write files to you. A virus scanner is suggested. And for the love of God, please bathe before the event, you disgusting punk.
